Following Race 3 in Monza, three drivers have received post-race penalties.
MP Motorsport driver Amna Al Qubaisi has received a 0.3 second penalty from the stewards after overtaking the #1 Campos Racing car of Nerea Martí outside of track limits. A. Al Qubaisi was unable to give the position back due to an unrelated incident that neutralized the race and therefore the stewards imposed a time penalty to swap the Emirati driver and Martí. With the penalty applied, Martí is promoted to the podium.
Léna Bühler has received a five second post-race penalty after causing a collision with Marta García. As a result, the Swiss driver is demoted to P10 in the final classification.
British driver Chloe Chong has received two separate grid drop penalties.
The first incident saw the PREMA Racing driver cause a collision with MP Motorsport’s Emely de Heus in T1, with the Dutch driver spinning out in the process. For the incident, the British driver received a three place grid penalty for the next race she participates in.
Chong also received a second three place grid penalty for the next race she participates in for causing a collision with Maite Cáceres in Turn 4. The incident resulted in both cars retiring from the race.
