Hamda Al Qubaisi will be sporting a bold new look for Round 5 in Singapore, as her #8 Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme car will be taking to the streets in a fan-designed livery.

As part of the team’s FOREVER REBL campaign, which celebrates Red Bull’s 20-year history in Formula 1, a series of fan-designed liveries have been created. Inspired by the special edition design from 2015 pre-season testing, the iconic Camo Bull livery has been reimagined and will take to the racetrack for the first time.

Designed by Caroline Stock from Montevideo, Uruguay, the 19-year-old put her own spin on it, adding a touch of sparkle to fit right in under the floodlights of the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

“I'm incredibly excited to be driving with the REBL CUSTMS livery on my car in Singapore this weekend,” said Hamda Al Qubaisi. “It’s a special track already, and to be running a fan-designed livery, inspired by the iconic camo-bull from 2015 is very special to me. The most exciting thing is that the livery never got to race, so I’ll be the first to race with it and I hope our performance shines as much as it.

“Caroline did an amazing job while designing this livery and to hear from her how many changes she made to the original, the intricate details and everything that went into this design was inspiring, I want to make her proud too. She’s designed it to sparkle and I think it will look great under the lights, with the glitter incorporated.

“It feels really special to drive with this livery, and it’ll be a historic moment for the Team to see it out there on a starting grid. I've never raced at this track before, but I cannot think of a better way to continue celebrating 20 years of Red Bull culture in the sport than to race on the famous streets of Singapore in a look never seen before.”

Winner Caroline Stock added: “My godfather had actually encouraged me to get involved with REBL CUSTMS and to design my own livery, when I found out I was one of the finalists, and then when I won the competition, it was totally surreal, it didn't feel like it was a real moment when the Team told me that I had won.

“I never imagined that I would get to see something that I designed on an actual car, it is an incredibly proud moment for me. I loved designing this livery, it was inspired by the 2015 camo-bull concept, but I added my own twist on it with extra details and glitter to really shine under the lights of Singapore.

“It is extra special that the livery will be running on Hamda's F1 ACADEMY car, I have followed her career and her journey and getting to unveil the car and chat with her about the design was a surreal moment. It's been a great trip and experience so far, we were even able to visit the Team's factory in Milton Keynes and do a factory tour and meet lots of different people in the team before travelling out to Singapore. I'm so excited to be here this weekend, I want to soak up the atmosphere and the whole experience at the track, and I can't wait to watch Hamda drive my livery on the streets of Singapore.”
