Before the final two rounds of the 2024 campaign, F1 ACADEMY is heading back on track for three days of in-season testing in Abu Dhabi.

Starting on Friday, the test will give drivers and teams a valuable opportunity to get acquainted with the Yas Marina Circuit and focus on building on everything they’ve learnt so far this season.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Running from October 18-20, there will be ample chances to get mileage on the board, with six hours of track time per day around the 5.281km circuit.

Day 1 and Day 2’s morning sessions will run from 10:00 to 13:00 local time (GMT+4), whilst afternoon running will commence at 14:00 and finish at 17:00 on both days. Day 3 will begin running an hour earlier on the Sunday, getting underway at 09:00 until 12:00. Testing will conclude will the final afternoon session from 13:00 to 16:00.

Each car will have access to seven new sets of slick tyres for the duration of the event.

THE FIELD

  • Abbi Pulling continues to lead the way in the Drivers’ Standings on 245 points, 95 points clear of second place Doriane Pin.
  • PREMA Racing sit top of the Teams’ Standings on 287, seven points ahead of Rodin Motorsport.
  • Pulling, Pin and Hamda Al Qubaisi are the only three drivers to have scored points in every single race so far this year.
  • Three teams have won races in 2024, with Pulling winning for Rodin, Pin for PREMA and Chloe Chambers taking the top spot for Campos Racing.
  • Seven drivers have achieved podium finishes, with all five teams bringing home at least one piece of silverware. PREMA have 12, Rodin are on 10, Campos have a six-podium haul, whilst ART Grand Prix and MP have one apiece.
