Interview
Léna Bühler experienced a rollercoaster of emotions in Round 3 at the Circuit Barcelona de-Catalunya, finally getting her hands on a Winners’ trophy in the final race of the weekend.
After a heart-breaking Saturday that saw Bühler forced to retire from first place in Race 1 and narrowly miss out on a podium in Race, she was ready to make it right in Race 3 taking her first win, and fourth podium, of the season.
“I am really happy with the result today after a very difficult Saturday, I was angry and disappointed. I was just focused on the race today to have a good start and manage all the race. It was important to try to stay calm for the whole race think about positively.”
“I knew if I took a good start I would have the pace to win the race. I know Hamda is a good starter, so it was important to be first on the first corner, push the first lap and manage the end of the race. I had a lot of pace and we did a lot of work with the team throughout the weekend.”
With F1 Academy set to break for two weeks before returning for testing in MotorLand Aragón, the drivers all have a chance to go home and get some time to train and relax.
“I am going back to Switzerland and will take a bit of rest before I get back to training and work so I will try to manage it all together."
