Lia Block

Describing herself as the ‘rookie of the rookies’ last season, Lia Block is hungry to get back to winning ways as she returns for her sophomore F1 ACADEMY campaign.

Crowned the youngest American Rally Association Champion in 2023 at only 17 years old, the American traded the familiarity of off-road racing for the unknowns of open-wheel — racing on the streets of Jeddah only three months after first stepping into single-seaters.

Embracing the change, initial challenges soon gave way to flashes of speed, with her best result coming with two P4 finishes under the Marina Bay lights. Remaining with Williams and ART Grand Prix, 18-year-old Block is full of fighting spirit as she’s determined to put all the lessons she’s learnt into practice a second time around.
