Growing up travelling around California with her father’s racing team, it’s no surprise that Courtney Crone was hooked on motorsport from an early age.
Relishing the speed, Crone got her first taste of go-karting aged three and didn’t look back. At 11 years old, she competed in Junior Speedway, going on to win three track championships in the 150cc Motorcycle class. Broadening her wealth of experience, she has raced in dirt and pavement USAC Midget and Sprint Cars, LMP3 prototypes and various junior Formula Cars.
Additionally, the American is a three-time winner of the Women’s Sports Foundation / Project Podium with Lyn St. James award (2016, 2017, 2018) and the 2023/2024 IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship.
Narrowly missing out on points on her F1 ACADEMY debut as the Miami Wild Card, the 23-year-old already has a taste of what she’ll need to do this season as she takes to the track for compatriots Haas.
