Nicknamed ‘the Pocket Rocket’, Doriane Pin’s ambitions are sky-high as she looks to go one better than her Vice Champion title last season.
Supported by the Iron Dames, Pin had a meteoric rise in endurance racing. A breakthrough year in 2022 saw her dominate the Ferrari Challenge Europe Series, winning nine out of 14 races alongside achieving victory at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
Jumping up to the World Endurance Championship LMP2 category in 2023, the French driver handled the pressure with ease, becoming the first woman to win the coveted ‘Revelation of the Year’ Award. Trying her hand at single-seaters, Pin scored her wins in the Formula 4 South East Asian and UAE Championships, finishing second overall in the South East Asian series.
Pin wasted no time becoming the first winner of the 2024 F1 ACADEMY season with a controlled drive on debut in Jeddah. The Mercedes junior was the biggest challenger to Abbi Pulling’s title quest, scoring three victories and five further podiums, helping PREMA Racing to retain their Teams’ title.
Keeping her racing skills sharp, Pin will be dove-tailing her sophomore campaign with a return to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine and select rounds of the Formula Regional Middle East Championship.
