Dubbed ‘the Pocket Rocket’, 20-year-old Doriane Pin has already proven herself to be a fierce competitor throughout her meteoric rise in endurance racing and she’s determined to show the same in single seaters. After claiming the 2019 French Championship title in karting, she moved to the Renault Clio Cup the following year.
Progressing to a full-time race programme with the Iron Dames for the 2021 Le Mans Cup, she quickly showcased her skills, scoring five podiums. However, it was 2022 that proved to be Pin’s breakthrough year – dominating the Ferrari Challenge Europe Series, winning nine out of the 14 races alongside victory at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
Jumping up to the World Endurance Championship LMP2 category last year, the French driver handled the pressure with ease, becoming the first woman to win the coveted ‘Revelation of the Year’ Award. Switching over to single seaters, she scored her wins in the Formula 4 South East Asian and UAE Championships, finishing second overall in the South East Asian series.
Now representing the Mercedes F1 Team and as a member of the their Junior Programme, she’ll be looking to take the Silver Arrows to the top step of the podium with the support of PREMA Racing.
