The highest-placed Wild Card driver in 2024, Nina Gademan hopes that’s a sign of things to come as she steps onto the F1 ACADEMY grid full-time with Alpine operated by PREMA Racing.
Born in Wijster in the Netherlands, Gademan started karting in 2018 when she was selected as a finalist for the 2019 Girls On Track Le Mans Shootout and one year later, she won gold in the Karting Slalom Cup in the FIA Motorsport Games.
Since then, Gademan has taken the rookie honours in the PTC Cup and finished second in the TB class of the 2022 24 Hours of Zolder, as part of an all-female line-up. Shifting up a gear, the now-21-year-old made her single-seater debut in the 2024 F4 British Championship, securing her first rookie podium during Round 4 at Thruxton.
Dazzling on home turf during F1 ACADEMY’s trip to Zandvoort, Gademan qualified sixth for both races and became the first Wild Card entry to score points — netting P4 and P10 finishes. Away from the track, she is a well-known esports content creator.
